RECIPROCITY - PART 1 - Connected to each other in Christ

Blessings to you who are chosen of the Lord!

I am believing this post finds you close to the heart of our Lord, wrapped in His unconditional love.

I awoke the other day with a word the Lord placed before me. I had shared with you in an earlier post "Nons Fe Donia.", that the Holy Spirit will do this from time to time, in order to guide me toward something the Lord wants me to search out, or look into. There is always a reason the Lord has for this. To teach, instruct and illuminate something in particular. Something He'd like to bring to my attention to meditate on, and allow Him to reveal His desire and intention.

Again, it must always be aligned with His Word (The Bible). It will become revealed truth to us. But, it will always have its foundation in His Word, with Scripture to back it up.

So, let me encourage you to allow the Lord to speak to you this way as well. If you suddenly find a word, or phrase, that is brought to mind, it may be the Lord attempting to get your attention to look into a matter. This is one of the ways the Lord will communicate with us. What a working relationship we have with our God! It's wonderful! The Holy Spirit directs us from the heart of God, in Christ.

"I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing."  John 15:5 (BSB)

I'd like us to look at the definition of the title word of today's post. Taken from the Merriam-Webster dictionary. This is the word the Lord had brought to my mind. We will be breaking down this definition and find the Lords thoughts with accompanying Scripture. This will lead us to the Lords intention for us. Let's begin our journey.

RECIPROCITY - 1. the quality or state of being reciprocal: mutual dependence, action or influence. 2. a mutual exchange of privileges; specifically : a recognition by one of two countries or institutions of the validity of licenses or privileges granted by the other.

Let's look in the Book of Titus in the New Testament.

"For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior; That being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that you affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men."
Titus 3:3-8 (AKJV)

If we look at verse 7, in bold print, we will see the license or privilege, that has been granted to us. As stated in the above definition of reciprocity #2. We see that Paul, who wrote the Book of Titus, use the word justified. Another translation words it this way:

"As a result, God in His kindness has given us His approval and we have become heirs who have the confidence that we have everlasting life."  Titus 3:7  (Gods word translation (R))

Justify - to qualifyto prove or show to be just, right or reasonable. To show to have had a legal reason.

"For as many are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint- heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also gloried together."  Romans 8:14-17 (AKJV)

Heir - 1. one who receives or is entitled to receive property from an ancestor: 2. one who inherits or is entitled to succeed to a hereditary rank, title, or office.

I would like us to make a note at this point. Look back at the above verse and read again. "and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;"

Isn't that amazing? We have not only been made heirs of God, but we are joint-heirs with Christ! Can we see here that God is no respecter of persons. He loves us enough to give to us what He gave to His only begotten Son!

"For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly."  Psalm 84:11 (KJV)

With Christ as our example, let's read Philippians 2:5-7.

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:"  Philippians 2:5-7 (KJV)

Christ not only being the Son of God, but also being equal with God, did not take occasion to boast or brag about just who He was while here among us in physical form. Being made heirs ourselves by faith in Jesus Christ, and His example, we can learn how to carry out our daily lives.

Remember, we are the branches and He is the vine. We can not do anything in and of ourselves, except we remain in Him. Then we will have good success and bear much fruit to Gods glory.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."  Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)

"May the God of all peace continue to keep your hearts and minds stayed on Him."

A SEASON OF PRAYER

Blessings to you Beloved of the Lord,

There is time upon us in which our prayer lives will be essential. Not to say that it should not be an essential part of our every day walk with the Lord as believers. The world is ever changing and transforming. New ways of thinking, that in my opinion may cause confusion to the masses. There are so many voices vising for our attention. Many are misleading.

I would like to admonish you today to begin to purposefully seek the Lord while He may be found.
"Seek the LORD while He may be found; call on Him while He is near." (Isaiah 55:6 NIV) This verse can seem a little puzzling, giving the impression that the Lord may not always be found. Just remember that He, by His Holy Spirit now resides in our inner most being or the hidden man of our heart, our spirit man if you have asked Him into your life.

 What to pray?

Pray for the minds, ears, hearts and eyes of the lost to be opened to hear the voice of our Lord and see his love and kindness toward them.

Pray for all believers that their faith would not fail them in times of persecution and turmoil.

Pray and repent for your sins and the sins of our families, countries and the world.

Pray for our children and their children that they would have the heart to serve the Lord and find their peace in Him and not the things of this world.

Pray for your ruling leaders that all would be well with you and your families and the Lord would give you favor.

Pray that the wicked schemes of the ungodly would be exposed by the Spirit of Almighty God and their plans and purposes of harm and evil would come to naught.

Pray the Lord to give you a holy boldness in this season to go out into the highways and byways and spread the good news of our Savior and win the lost to the Lord.

Pray and thank the lord for providing the provision needed to reach others for the sake of Christ.

Pray for miracles to be wrought by humble hands as you minister to those around you always giving glory to God.

Pray for the Lord to put His words in your mouth to speak and deliver many.

Pray for the Lord give you and song in your mouth to keep your faith strong and your joy in Him everlasting as you receive your call and marching orders from your King.

This list is not complete. I know the Lord by His Holy Spirit will also place things in your heart that need to be prayed for.

Go out as people of Israel did with a shout of victory and songs of deliverance. They moved expecting the God of Israel to go before them and to be their rear guard in battle. And He was and still is!

Remember there is no God like our God who can save, deliver, heal, raise the dead, to give sight to the blind spiritually and physically, cause the lame to walk, and make mute people speak.

God is God of all and there is none like Him. We are a blessed people indeed to have been given so great an invitation to serve such a wonderful living God.  His mercy endures forever and He forgives our sins holding nothing to our charge.

If you would like to experience the ever present love and mercy of God in your life, just ask Him into your life now. A simple prayer asking for God to forgive your sinful ways that you may not have known were contrary to His.

Ask Jesus to come into your life and show you the right path to take in Him. And thank Him for becoming your Savior and helping you in your everyday life. In good times and bad.

"For every one -- whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, he shall be saved." (Romans 10:13 YLT)

Welcome to the family of God! Please email us to let us know that you prayed and invited the Lord into your life, so we may put you on our prayer list and pray for you and support your growth in Christ.

"Blessings to you my Brothers and Sisters in the Lord. May all grace abound toward you and yours in the matchless name of Jesus!"

OUR HEAVENLY CALL NO MEMBER GREATER THAN THE OTHER

Greetings Beloved of the Lord God Almighty!

We have looked into the the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and how the Lord desires to equip and use us to minister to others. We've touched on this topic over the last few blogs. Remember, we are a work in progress and haven't as of yet arrived unto full perfection. This will happen when we are with our Lord in glory rejoicing with Him.

The intention of this study is to assist us in locating and fine tune what we are created for. If any of the gifts we have spoken about makes a light go off or sparks something inside of you to say "That's it!" Then our joy is made full.  For the most part you may find that you have already been walking in your gifting. You will find it just comes naturally to you. It's who you are and how you are wired.

Early on in studies we began to break down the Foundational Gifts, or the 5 Fold Ministry Gifts is another term used, the apostle, the prophet, the evangelist, the pastor and teacher. We had also  looked at the ministry of helps. This ministry in mentioned in I Corinthians 12:28  "And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third  teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, and various kinds of tongues." (NAS)

The Lord is wise with all of the different personalities have given to us as individuals as well as the accompanying gifts that go right along with who we are and how He has wired us! Then to boot, He places us in a corporate body with others who also have gifts and callings. This is His master plan. That we with all of our diversities and gifts, should all come together as one in Christ. This is exciting! What is even more exciting is that He has called us to be a part of it!

In the ministry of helps we find in various areas that the gifts may overlap with other gifts. There are seasons that one gift may seem to be more prevalent than the others. However, these gifts work together to meet the needs of the whole body at those times, as the Lord wills. All of the gifts though spiritually given meet the practical needs of the whole body as well. We may find the ministry of helps and administrations do exactly that.

We find in the book of Acts 6:2-4 that the disciples were increasing and so were the people they were ministering to. Not only did they teach and minister to them, they also fed them as well. But because the crowds grew some were getting neglected. This was concerning for the disciples. They needed to devote themselves to prayer and the Word of God. So they chose seven men of good report, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom to head this task up.

The disciples could not fulfill their calling without others fulfilling theirs. The pieces fit just like a puzzle. No matter how dynamic a gift may be, in and of itself, by itself, it is limited. Now, God is not limited, just the gift. We all need each other in order to fulfill the Great Commission of God.

In I Corinthians 12:18 it states "But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased Him."

We read further about unity and diversity in the body of Christ.

I Corinthians 12:12-26 (KJV)
12-14 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free-- and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.

15-19 If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body," is it therefore not the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be?

20-26 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; nor again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you." No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism (division) in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

We see that the Lord in His great wisdom indeed has provided every member of His body with gifts and talents, along with strengths and weaknesses, that no part would boast of itself, giving implication of its lack of need for the other. We are all equal in the body of Christ. There is none ordained to be the head, except Christ, in His infinite glory and wisdom.

This is a beautiful example of the Lords unconditional love and lack of partiality. He does not discriminate or put at odds, one against the other. He promotes unity and oneness. As we should.

So, whatever it is that the Lord has placed upon your heart and in yours hands, do to the glory of the Lord. You have been given liberty in Christ Jesus. God is our Creator and He has imparted His creative abilities into our lives by His Holy Spirit. Be excited, be encouraged, and be blessed!

Get your note book and begin to write down things that you may be impressed to do, or ideas that may be brought to your mind. Then prayerfully consider them with the Lord and ask Him to build on them. Ask Him to help you become more sensitive to others and to open your eyes to the needs around you. To bring more to light, to give you His eyes to see what He sees, and to give you greater understanding and direction toward those things. Ask and you shall receive.

We are called to be servants one to another. These are some ways that we may be able to help or serve others by lifting their burden just a little. We are equipped to meet practical needs as well as spiritual.

Remember, when we extend a hand in the natural to meet the needs of others, the Lord will surely open the eyes of our understanding and reveal the spiritual needs of others as well. Whether it be healing, physical or emotional.

We have been anointed with Gods wisdom and the Holy Spirit. In Matthew 25:40 Jesus said "when you have done it to the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me."

Below is a list of some examples but not limited to:

Ministering to the homeless
Mentoring youth
Helping the Elderly
Hospitality ministry at church
Home Bible studies
Preaching/Pastor/Teacher
After school care for children
Mowing the neighbors lawn
Tutoring school aged children
Volunteer in community activities

May our Lord continue to richly bless and keep you and yours until the day of Christs coming!

YOUR HEAVENLY CALL PART 1

Blessings to you and yours!

"For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was His plan from before the beginning of time--to show us His grace through Christ Jesus." II Timothy 1:9 (NKJ)

"For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJ)

We have been called with a heavenly purpose. The Lord has a plan and we fit into it. I realize that we can argue the point and say: "Not me. You do not know what I've done. He doesn't want to use someone like me."  If you haven't yet read my testimony and a few things that I had done before Christ came into my life, I suggest you do. It's called "Why trust God in this day and age - My Testimony."  If God can find me and desire to turn my sinful ways into a life that glorifies Him. He can do that for anyone. Remember; "Faithful is He who has called you, and He also will bring it to pass"  I Thessalonians 5:24 (NAS)

Well let's put that to rest right now. When He sent His son to die on the cross you were on His mind. His love for you and hope for your future kept Jesus on the cross. He could've gotten down off that cross at any time. But He didn't. His love for us kept Him there. By His own choice and willingness. Because He loved you then and loves you now. Selah... (Ponder with intent and quietness of heart.)

So let's see what it is that He wants us to do for Him. Get excited and get ready!

As we begin to look into this subject we will look at scripture verses that will help us to identify gifts and talents that we may have. We may already know or have an idea of talents that have been useful in blessing others. What is it that seems to come naturally to you? Or maybe you're not sure. As we study I know the Lord will make it clear for you. So be encouraged and have hope.

Our gifts are unique to us. We do not have the same gifts and talents. But they are all designed to work together in conjunction with one another. Our responsibility is to seek Him out and find what it is that He wants us to do and where He wants us to do it.

We have been given wonderful gifts and talents. We are here on earth for a particular time and season. God has a call or mandate upon our lives. We must begin to believe that we have a purpose and walk in it, to fulfill our divine destiny in Christ Jesus.

"Ask and it shall be given you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV)

Let me ask you a question. Would you like to be a part of what the Lord is doing in the world today?  If your answer is yes, I'd like you to say to Him right now "Lord here am I, send me."  Our Brother Isaiah had the same opportunity. He overheard the Lord, saying, Whom shall we send? Who will go for us? Then Isaiah volunteered his services.

You can find this account in the Book of Isaiah chapter 6 verse 8.  We will use this as our reference scripture as we continue this topic.

The Lord richly bless you and make His face to shine upon you, in all that you may do and say to further His kingdom and bless His holy name!

WHO ARE WE AND HOW HAS THE LORD GIFTED US

Blessings to you the Lord's Beloved!

We read in the Book of Romans 11:29  "For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." This means they will not be taken away. I am hearing a yes, but....  I understand completely. You know your weaknesses and mistakes, your faults and failures.  So does God, and yet He loves us unconditionally and has called us by name for a purpose.

We read in the Book of Numbers 23:19  "God is not man, that He should lie, or change His mind. Has He said, and will He not do?"  We trust God because we know He cannot lie. It is not in His nature. A matter of fact, it's nearly impossible for Him to lie. Because He is holy and there is no sin in Him. If sin were to be found in God, then we should not serve Him. He would be a liar and untrustworthy.

In the Book of Jeremiah 1:5 we find the Lord says "I knew you before you were in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations." Before we were even in our mother's womb the Lord knew us. He knew our DNA, what our personality would be like, our weaknesses and strengths, our creative abilities, our intellectual structure, the potential of our characters, and our talents and gifts. The list goes on, but you get the idea.

Of course He knows, He is our creator. He created us on purpose for a purpose. This must lend some kind of comfort to you. We don't have to try so hard to determine what we want to be when we grow up. A little humor, our age has nothing to do with the call and gifting the Lord has granted to us! The fact is, it has in more ways than one already presented itself to the world around us. Our friends and families, our siblings and co-workers.

It is who we are in Christ and the things that come naturally to us. When we become one with Christ, He anoints and transforms our natural abilities into SUPER natural by His Holy Spirit operating and working in and through our lives, on behalf of Christ.

You may want to keep a note book handy and begin to write down things that you know about yourself. Your likes and dislikes. Your hobbies and pass time pleasures. What are things that may motivate you? Your passions, things you'd like to change if you could in yourself, and the world around you. What is it that burns in your heart. How do you feel when you see injustices being committed? What is it that brings you joy? Do you like to lead or follow? Do you like the lime-light or would you prefer to blend into the grey?

These are just a few examples of characteristics that may be helpful in zeroing in on your gifts and talents. This will be our inspiration board in order to better serve as a starting point for the direction you believe the Lord may be leading you in.

Leave a comment or email telling me what the Lord has put in heart and where you believe He's leading you. I'd love to hear from and encourage you anyway possible. Enjoy your journey in Him!

Many blessings to in Christ Jesus!

NONS FE DONIA - FORGOTTEN IN THE WORLD

Blessings in the name of the Most High God!

I pray that you and yours are doing well in our Lord.  I'd like to share a story with you.  While doing the dishes the other evening after dinner, I found myself speaking this phrase out loud "Nons Fe Donia." Now mind you, I do not speak other languages fluently at all.  I may know a very small amount of Spanish, and a couple of greetings in Polish. But that is about it. For the most part, I have come to learn and recognize that if it isn't something that I have an understanding with, it is most likely the Lord.

Knowing that this was not a familiar phrase to me at all, I began to search it out on the internet.  As a side note, the Lord will do this at times with me, knowing I will go and dig into it, in order to find the answer.  You can also refer back to an earlier blog "Listen for the Leading"  to gain a little understanding and insight when the Lord may desire to get your attention. He may want to show you something, or lead you in a certain direction.

Now by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, I will begin to share with you what the Lord has placed upon my heart for you.

NO, says the Lord. You are not alone. I have seen every tear that you have cried. My heart groans and breaks as your heart breaks. Just as Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died." (John 11:21) Yes, my dear beloved, but I was there. Every step of the way. It was I that was the wind at your back to keep your heart and mind strong and fixed. It was I that sent the soothing breeze and birds of the air to comfort you as you pondered the future. Yes, and it was I that held your hand, ever so gently, when it was better to let go then to hold on. It was I whose presence you felt surround you in the midst of terrible grief that none could comfort you, by the loss of your husband and child.

Yes, the days are evil, because the condition of mans heart is evil. However, I am the Lord your God. Is there anything to difficult for Me? (Jeremiah 32:27) Was it not I who parted the great sea? (Exodus 14:21) Was it not I who fed the prophet in the wilderness? (1 Kings 19:5-8) Was it not I your Creator who raised the dead and still do? (2 Kings 13:20-21, Luke 7:11-17, Matthew 27:50-53) If only you would believe. I say to you dear child, believe with your whole heart this day. Believe in Me, Yahweh, Yeshua, Jesus, Elohim, I Am that I Am, Adonia, Abba.

See if I do not hold the worlds and your world in the palm of My hand. I love you and have drawn you with an everlasting love, never to be removed from My heart. (Jeremiah 31:3) Yes, nation shall rise against nation, but you are My beloved. (Song of Solomon 7:10) I shall preserve you and hide you in My heart, through My Son. (Colossians 3:3)

Keep your peace by believing on Me, says your God. All power is Mine. I am covering you with My Holy Presence this day. My servants of fire are your rear guard and protection. (Psalm 104:4, Genesis 18:2) I tell you, as it is written, eye has not seen, nor ear has not heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. (I Corinthians 2:9)

NO, you are not alone. None can snatch you from My hand says your Lord and King. (John 10:28) I will be with you even to the end of this age. Continue to do the works that I have commanded you. Signs and wonders will follow those who believe. (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:16-18)

"I WILL NOT FORGET YOU!" (Isaiah 49:14-16)

"Blessings to you and yours. In the name of Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the Living God!"

LET HIS HOLY WIND BLOW AGAIN

Blessings to you my Brothers and Sisters!

Our Lord is visiting His people once again in a mighty way.  Miracles, signs and wonders are happening around the world. We are a part of it! When the Lord comes with His Holy presence to a people or particular place, we must keep in mind it is for a particular reason. Be ready and watch for Him. He has heard the cry of His righteous ones!

The Lord God is not a court jester by any means. He does not manifest His presence for the mere thought of entertainment at all. God is sovereign. We as His called ones must recognize this with reverent fear and humility.

There is one verse I like and quote often. It is found in "On the third day Joseph said to them, "Do this, and you will live. I, too, fear God." Genesis 42:18(GWT)

So, let us fear God and live. I'd like to say right here, that we are also called friends of God.

"No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you." John 15:15(BSB)

The Lord withholds no good thing from us, that comes from above. We are His family.

This is a call to us all, the body of Christ universal. The Lord is not asking for our permission to show up and be spectacular and gracious to us. He is Sovereign. He is the Great I AM. The One Who Is able to become anything He wills, whenever He wills it! We must prepare our hearts to receive Him in His fullness, once again. Yes, I said, once again. On His terms and not ours.

There has been a spirit of lethargy that has plagued the body of Christ for the past twelve years. We have been distracted in building our own kingdom in stead of the Lord's. Not all, but quit a great number. I do believe at times we have attempted to make God into our image.  Where He fits nicely into our agendas. Rather than allowing Him to be just Who He Is, The Lord God Almighty.

The unfortunate part of all this is that as we, the Body of Christ as a whole, have turned our hearts and heads away from our brothers and sisters who have been fervently defending the faith, in a spiritual battle delivering souls, as the rest of us have become lukewarm or indifferent. This resulting in a falling away and disillusionment of the babes in Christ, as cynicism made its way into the church. Our love waxed cold.

By the precious Spirit of our God I cry! "Come back to HIM now, your FIRST LOVE!" With tender hearts rent in humility and heads bowed in repentant gratefulness, for what He has done for us in His mercy. Return, Oh Bride of the Most High. Return unto your Kings side. Rise from the ashes and cleanse yourself by turning from subtle sin that has crept in. Ready yourself for love and for battle. He is righteous and victorious! The earth claps and rejoices, for His day is drawing near! Holy Bride, bought with a price that none could pay. Except He who reigns on High! Glory to His name!

The Biblical meaning for the number twelve is considered to be a perfect number, it symbolizes God's power and authority, as well as serving as a perfect governmental foundation. It can also symbolize completeness or the nation of Israel as a whole.

"For another foundation can no man lay that is laid, which is Jesus Christ."
I Corinthians 3:11(MEV)

Yes, I believe the Lord has come with His manifested presence to once again awaken His bride from her slumber and to call those that would receive His holy impartation in and upon their lives. Allow our Lord to lay a strong foundation in your life and bring a completeness of faith, joy and peace by His Living Word, Jesus Christ. Allow Him to enter into the deepest part of your heart that you have reserved for no one.

Let Him by His Holy Spirit bring that which is dead in your life, back to life once again. Your zeal, your hope, your faith, His call upon your life, new vision, new fire, a freshness of fervor, new insight, more love. Ask Him and receive with simple faith and a pure heart. Call unto Him now.

As He breathes on you a fresh, allow Him to restore hope, and give you clear eyes to see Him for Who He really Is. Your Redeemer.  Allow His Love flood your soul with His peace and renewed joy. Let Him build and fortify a strong foundation in your heart and spirit. Allow your faith to be broadened by His Holy Spirit, through His word.

Believe to see, hear and receive! In the Majestic name of Jesus!

"Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste." Isaiah 28:16(KJV)

Blessings and may the Mighty presence of our Lord, Keep and establish you and yours in His power, love and peace!

YOUR HEAVENLY CALL pt. 5: Fruit of the Holy Spirit an expression of love

Blessings my Brothers and Sisters!

As we continue to grow in our walk with the Lord, and understand the gifts and talents we possess, I believe we must look at the one who gives us our inspiration. The Holy Spirit of God.

In 1 John 4:7-8 "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." (KJV)

We see that God IS love. Love IS God and love comes from God. Love is the manifestation of the Lord God. God is a tri-une Being. Meaning three in one: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God the Father is enthroned in the heavenlies. God the Son (Jesus) is seated at the right side of the throne and God the Holy Spirit is here on earth living within earthen vessels.

In the Book of Acts chapters 1 and 2 we find the account of how Jesus explained to the disciples that the Holy Spirit (the promise of the Father) was coming to them and they would receive power. Then they would be the Lords witnesses throughout Judea and Samaria to the uttermost parts of the world.

We see that the Lord felt it necessary for the disciples and all followers of Christ to have power from on high, the person of the Holy Spirit. He is the one who raised Jesus from the dead. He is the One in whom Jesus was able to heal the sick and deliver the oppressed. He is the One who filled the Lord with empathy and compassion toward people. The Holy Spirit of God is the One who stirred Jesus to speak comfort to the disheartened. He is the One who worked through Jesus to do the miracles He did.

Jesus put it this way in John 5:30 "I can do nothing on my own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgement is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who  has sent Me." If Jesus needed him I am so sure we do too! (BSB)

Now, if God is love and the Holy Spirit is God, that means that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of love. He reveals the Lords love to us and he will help us share Gods love with others.

In Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance/patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such there is no law."

Jesus set a wonderful example of how we are to respond to the lovely and unlovely. He operated with the fruit of the Holy Spirit. It is not always easy to love the unlovable. But it is not impossible with the Holy Spirit working through us. We will love with the Fathers love which is unconditional. Not our love aside from the Lords, which is limited and conditional.

In whatever capacity we serve others, we must realize that it will be successful when we allow the fruit of the Holy Spirit to work in and through our lives with the love of the Lord. People will sense our sincerity.

I like what Colossians 3:23-24 says "Whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord you shall receive the reward of inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ."

Let's pray. Father in heaven I thank you for allowing Heart Treasure Ministries an opportunity to support, encourage and build into the lives of others. I thank you for giving them clear insight for what you have called them to do. I thank you Lord that you have given them ears to hear what your Holy Spirit would speak to their heart concerning the gifts and call you have for them. Lord, I know you do not call us without equipping us with everything we need to get the job done. Thank you for your Holy Spirit of grace and power. Thank you Lord for your love working through our lives to touch those around us. Father we allow your Holy Spirit access to use our hearts and hands all for your glory. In the precious name of Jesus! Amen.

May the Lords grace and peace rest greatly upon your life and the lives of your loved ones!

THE LORD SAYS: I WILL BE FOUND BY YOU

Blessings to you the Lords Beloved!

I would like to encourage you today, my family and friends. There are times when we may find ourselves getting caught up in a whirl wind. We may say: Which side is up? Or maybe, stop the world I'd like to get off now.

Even so, where ever you may find yourself today, know that you are at the beginning of something the Lord is working in your life. A place of transition, from one purpose to another.

KNOW that you are not alone, though the path may seem lonely.

KNOW, that you are under-girded by His powerful Holy Spirit of Grace. He is closer to you then when you first believed.

KNOW that His Resurrection life has, and will, hold you, carry you, and breathe new life into you.

In your weakness, He IS made strong. It's IN and THROUGH and BY HIS LIFE working in us that we can and will go on.

After this season, when we come back to ourselves, we see in the Book of Jeremiah 29:12-14.

"THEN, you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, "declares the Lord," and will bring you back from captivity."

By the Spirit of our Lord, I would like to emphasize most importantly, The Lord says:

"I WILL BE FOUND BY YOU."

Praise the Lord God Almighty, Who reigns with justice and mercy! He has made Himself available to us!

You are never too far out of His reach. You are never to far fro the boarders of Heaven that you can not be retrieved.

He knows where you are...He is there,

Father in Heaven, I pray for Your Holy healing presence to surround, under-gird, hold up and hold onto all those that are Yours, and are called by Your Most Holy Name, and those that will be Yours.
Jesus, I thank You Lord, once again, that by Your grace, let Your Most Holy Spirit of peace and power, fill all gaps and places of wounds.
Now to Your glory Lord, I speak supernatural peace and refreshment. Rest, Rest, Rest in the Lord. Lord we love You.
Come now Father and be all You are, in and through our lives, as we lay them before Your Holy Thrown. In the most precious name of Jesus. Be glorified.

Blessings, peace and comfort to you and yours!  Much love in Christ!

THE BIGGEST "U" TURN YOU WILL EVER MAKE

Blessings to You and Yours!

Have you ever thought that you had blown it?  Or that you'd never measure up to what was expected of you?  Have you ever thought that if you were a cat that had nine lives, you are working on your twenty third!  How about every time you attempt to do something, it just doesn't seem to work out for one reason or another.  I know what you're thinking... you'd like to know where I'm going with this because it's not very encouraging!

I would like to let you know that you are not alone. There is not a one of us that hasn't experienced the same sort of thoughts at some point in our life, due to situations, circumstances or decisions we have made. We can't change the past. However, we can learn from it. We all are given the same opportunity to either; allow the situation/circumstance (I like to call them "opportunities") to shape us, build character in our lives, make us strong in our resolve, or just simply, take us out and render us useless. Now I'm am not implying that you are useless in any way.  I am using the term "useless" as rendering one ineffective or unable to fulfill or achieve the intended purpose for your life and the world around you. Let's read what Luke has to say.

Luke 14:34-35 "Salt is good, but if it looses its flavor, how do you make it salty again? Flavorless salt is good neither for the soil nor for the manure pile. It is thrown away." (NLB)

The ancient Hebrews, Egyptians, Greeks and Romans just to name a few used salt in trade and religious ceremonies. Salt is also used in food preservation, in order to stop the decaying process of meat or vegetables. As we know all to well, salt is also highly regarded as flavoring. It was also used as a disinfectant. In fact the scarcity and universal need for salt has led nations to go to war over this much treasured mineral and use it to raise tax revenues.

Salt is used metaphorically in the Bible to signify permanence, loyalty, durability, fidelity, usefulness, value and purification. Now let us keep in mind that we, you are the salt of the earth. Apply the words to yourself and what you are able to exhibit in and through your life.

We read in the Book of Matthew 5:13-16 "You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltiness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men.  You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.  Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light shine before men that they see your moral excellence, and your praiseworthy, noble good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven." (AMPC)

Even Peter thought that he had blown it. Thomas also had his weak moment as well.  In both cases Jesus handled them both with compassion not disappointment.  If Jesus had compassion on His followers then, shall He not have compassion on us today?  Remember, "He Is the Lord Who changes not!" Malachi 3:6

So, if we are called to preserve, be a light, be permanent, loyal, useful, durable, and purify to name a few, then let's. One person at a time.  You are probably saying at this point: "Yes. but remember, I feel as though I have blown it!"  Yes, I do remember, and here is my reply Beloved: "For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, But the wicked stumble in time of calamity." Proverbs 24:16 (NAS)

The difference is your heart.  "If our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things."  1 John 3:20 (NKJV)

It is nearly impossible to have once tasted the goodness of the Lord and callously turn away, to never feel the draw of His Spirit when He tugs upon our heart.  Again, can I remind you that if you have read down this far, and still believe that you are useless to the Lord and His kingdom because you have missed the mark.  I will say "Not so."  It is not by happen stance that you are here.  It is a heavenly appointment. Receive it as such with a humble heart.  God is good!  I will pray for you now.

Gracious Father in heaven, I thank you once again for drawing all those that are Yours unto Yourself. Holy, Holy, Holy are You Lord and merciful are Your ways towards us. When we grieve in hearts and feel as though we have abandoned our first love,YOU.  You in Your infinite wisdom, love and mercy draw us again. I thank you Father, that You continue to ever pursue us, over and over again. That we may experience You and know Your joy and life flowing through us unto others for Your glory. These are Yours Lord.  This day establish once again, all those who surrender their hearts unto You. As they lift their hearts and hands toward You in worship. Fill them with Your peace. Let them feel and sense Your loving-kindness and forgiveness towards them in the depths of their heart.  Thank You Lord Who reigns on high.  You are wondrous and You are glorious! There is none, nor will there ever be, who is likened unto You!  All heaven bears witness even now at this moment how glorious You are! We praise You Father and give our lives and hearts to You this day. Complete the work You have started in us. All to Your glory.  In the Mighty and Holy name of Jesus.

Many blessings to you yours His Beloved.  Love in Christ!

SERVING YOU IN 2019

Blessings to you and yours, my Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

I'd like to take a moment to talk to you on a more personal note. I would like to express my gratitude and thankfulness to the Lord and you! It is such an honor, blessing and privilege to serve and encourage you in the Lord via this blog. You are in our continued thoughts and prayers. It is a wonderful blessing to reach our world for Christ. From our little corner of the world to yours.

Heart Treasure Ministries, endeavors to be a blessing to you and your family, by breaking the bread of the Lords word together. I thank the Lord for knitting our hearts together in Him. We are His body. Joined together by His Holy Spirit, with one heart in Christ Jesus! It's a wonderful blessing! Know and understand that as you have shared the words that have been penned on this blog with others, it is with great humility and pleasure, that I would ask the Lord to hold it to your charge in thankfulness, rewarding you and your household with blessings and divine health.

The countries that we have found ourselves reaching out to are listed below:

United States, France, Germany, Kenya, Puerto Rico,Thailand,United Kingdom, Jamaica
Philippines, Russia,Ukraine, Austria, Latvia, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Ireland, New Zealand
Canada, Netherlands, Australia, Uganda, India, Portugal, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong
South Africa, Japan, Vietnam, Costa Rica, Aruba, Kyrgyzstan, Brazil, Argentina, Kazakhstan
Peru, Saudi Arabia, Hungary, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Sweden, Pakistan, Armenia, Iraq
Swaziland, Ghana, Israel, Malta, United Arab Emirates, Jersey, Nigeria,Greece, South Korea, Ukraine, An Unknown Region, Italy, and Croatia.

Today in the world around us we are experiencing an unrest. There is a tension in the air that can be sensed. Times are rapidly changing and hastening toward a final close. Our Lord is coming back soon! We as believers must learn to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit of our God. We are in a time and season that we that our His must KNOW HIS VOICE. There is a place in the scriptures that tells us "If it were not for the sake of the elect, by Gods mercy, the final days were shortened. Otherwise none would be saved."

Brothers and Sisters, cleave to that which is true, holy, and just. Fast, pray and seek His face. I pray that your ears would be opened to hear His voice. That your heart would be ready to receive His love. That your spirit would be filled with His Holy Spirit of courage and fire to heed His call and fulfill His mandate upon your life.

Even now in 2019, Christian Churches are being forced to shut down. Restaurants that support faith based community programs are being chastised and having erroneous charges brought against them. A wonderful brother from the Netherlands was recently forced to leave the country due to threats against his family and more. His ministry was forcefully shut down. However, Praise be to God. The has furnished a place for he and his family to continue to encourage those of faith and those who indeed need the Lord.

One thing that I have pondered recently is that, there is no sure thing except Gods love, mercy and forgiveness. In Luke 21:33 we read that Heaven and earth shall pass away, but His words will last forever.

We are in the last days as written in the Book of 2 Timothy chapter 3. I have just highlighted a few the first couple of verses. People will be lovers of themselves and of money. They will listen to no one. They will be full of pride and lie about others. They will not obey their parents. They will not be thankful. They will have no love. They will not agree with anybody. They cannot be trusted. They will act quickly, without thinking. They will beat people and will not love anything good.

I would like to ask you to keep each other in your prayers to the Father as we continue to run the race of faith, together in Christ, until He returns. The people of our world have suffered many different sufferings, tyrannies and situations. From freedoms taken away and hate crimes, to cultural discrimination on faith in Christ. We must not forget our brothers and sisters who have also endured brutal persecution and death for their faith. Martyred for their belief in Christ Jesus our Savior. The Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

Surely, we honor them for loving not their lives unto death for our Lord. Please pray earnestly that our faith in Christ would not fail us in times of persecution, or in the face of death. Death being the last enemy to be destroyed.

                                                              MARANATHA

"The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace."  Numbers 6:24-26 (NKJV)

May the Lord use us all mightily to touch the world for His glory!

Thank you for making mention of us in your prayers.

Justify - to qualify; to prove or show to be just, right or reasonable.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."  Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)

"May the God of all peace continue to keep your hearts and minds stayed on Him."

WHY TRUST GOD IN THIS DAY AND AGE - MY TESTIMONY

Blessings to you in the matchless name of Jesus!

With all that we see going on in the world around us, we must stop and ask ourselves, "Who can I trust? Where can my family and I go to be safe?" These questions may only be the tip of the iceberg. But, I think you get the idea. It is very difficult to raise a family with some type of morals in a society that has muddied a moral standard. When we choose to not have any kind of standard to live by ie... civil laws. Then we in turn actually jeopardize the safety and well-being ourselves and others. Just to be clear, I do not agree with a dictatorship of any sort. But, a democracy in which people come together and have a meeting of the minds, and establish, (with liberty as the fruit for well being), what is best for the whole. We do not see very much of this today. Our freedoms are being sacrificed to a culture that has no regard for their own families, let alone their neighbors. Where do we turn?

Religion has had an impact and role since the very beginning of recorded history. In every society, in every corner of our world, people for generations have practiced some form of religion. Even today we can take notice of different cultures emerging with different methodologies, philosophies and religious practices. Because the world system itself can not fill this void or answer these questions. I suppose in some way or another, it is a quest to find "The Answer." The question being: "Why are we here?" Religion will give you practices and guidelines. It may lend some comfort for a season. However, if it is just mechanical practices in a man made culture and there are no moral standards you have to answer for, there is no accountability to someone as well as others for your behavior, and your heart is not involved and changed. Then at the end of the day you come up empty again and your religion has not served you well.

In 1985, I thought I had life wrapped around my finger. I was in control of my destiny. No one was going to stop me from doing whatever I was thinking I would do. The truth is, I was running after something, working two full time jobs and on top of the world, so I thought. When in reality I was doing nothing less then chasing my own tail around, getting in my own way! Until, one night while watching T.V. I came across a preacher. I listened for a while and what he was talking about made sense. It's true, we all need somebody. But more than just anybody, we need someone who knows our thoughts and plans, our pains and griefs, our heart of hearts without question, and still loves us in spite of ourselves.

I grew up with a religious background. However, religion made it easy for me to do whatever I wanted, with little accountability and demand for a heart change and growth in my personal life. I was still lost! The road I found myself traveling down, just wasn't a good one at all. I quit school and ran away from home at Fifteen years old. I came back home and was out of the house for good at seventeen years old. I experimented with drugs, alcohol and gambling. I was just trouble waiting to happen. Finally, by the age of twenty-one my life began to settle down a little. At that time, I had stopped doing drugs, drinking and gambling. However, I still had a chip on my shoulder and a rebel inside.

At this time, two guys at work approached me and asked if I believed in Jesus Christ. I said: "Of course I do."  My religious background was in the christian faith. They gave me a New Testament Bible and asked if I had one. I told them no. I had never read the Bible. They then instructed me to begin to read the Bible and if I had any questions just ask. I said, fair enough. Even though I had thought that I was't good enough for God to glance my way. I knew my short comings and sins. I felt after I cleaned my act up, then I would be good enough for God. Shortly after this I had been transferred to a different department in the company. Once there, I met another christian brother, who was also being transferred to the same department.

After orientation we received our new units we had to report to. I reported to mine, and lo and behold, I met another christian gentleman. He was to train me in my new job. Shortly thereafter, he shared what had taken place in his life about seven months before I arrived. He told me he had been an alcoholic, a heavy gambler and that he would practice cheating on his wife often with other women. But, he had given his life to the Lord and everything had changed. He said the desire for drinking, gambling and other women had been taken away. His marriage had been restored and Jesus had forgiven him and gave his life back to him in a beautiful way.

I remember this gentleman would always sing songs to the Lord while he worked. I took notice of the peace he had. He was humble and would walk away from rude behavior and coarse jesting. He didn't buckle under peer pressure by his co-workers. One day while at work the other workers told me that he had really changed for the better. He wasn't the same. I could tell that they really respected him. Although they would tease him from time to time regarding his new life in Christ. He'd just shake his head and walk away with an affectionate smile and pray for them. He loved those guys. He was very instrumental in my walk with the Lord.

It isn't hard to see that the Lord was kinda making sure that where ever life was taking me (I know He was orchestrating the whole thing!), the road would lead to Him. As my Christian co-workers reached out to me, I began to see "That I didn't have to wait and clean myself up for God." It was impossible for me to do that anyway. Only Christ can do that. He is the only one able. In Psalm 46:1 It says that: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble."  I figured I wasn't doing a really good job of this thing called life on my own. I had nothing to loose and all to gain. Besides it was Gods' reputation on the line, not mine. He is the promise maker and keeper. I just had to trust Him and watch what He would do in and through my life, like He said He would in His word, the Bible. I did ask the Lord into my heart and gave my life to Him. I knew with other believers around me they would help me understand what the Lords will was for my life through His word. Like our Brother in Christ earlier, I began to have that same peace in my life as well. I also had more joy and hope, which previously had not been there.

Again, it was no coincidence how the Lord was moving situations and people around in my life, in order to get my attention and move me closer to Him. I will tell you that I have never for one moment ever regretted the decision I made that night to follow Him. He is Beautiful, Full of Grace,Wonderful, Patient, Faithful, Trust Worthy, All Powerful, Magnificent, Full of Wisdom, Gracious and Merciful, Kind and Deliberate with His Love. He is a Friend that sticketh closer than a brother, Protector, Mighty, Awesome and He is Father.

May I say at this point that, while religion may have its roots in some belief system that may make you feel good, sooner or later the feeling, because it is limited by human emotion which always changes, falters, and is not constant, will leave you empty once again. Because we are left with ourselves, knowing our own weaknesses and faults. We will let ourselves down. It's inevitable.

However, if we put our trust in a Living God who has created and fashioned us. We would soon realize that, if He sees our ugly weaknesses and yet, it does not deter Him from loving us. We will begin to find that we are truly loved. And this love will bring us joy that is beyond our human nature, and with this joy that the Lord gives, brings eternal hope with it.  What more can we ask for?  Can you use a little in your life?  Have you reached the end of yourself yet? When we reach the end of ourselves and human ambitions we find our Lord.  He knew us before we were even a thought. He even knew us before we were in our mothers womb! It is not about religion. It is all about a personal relationship. I say personal, because there is not a one of us that is identical with life choices and experiences. We are all individual and called by His name for a particular purpose in Christ.

Psalm 139:13-14 "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mothers womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well."  (NKJV)

A personal relationship with the One Who has called you by name. He is our safe haven. Though the world around us may change and things may seem to get scary at times. We can trust in God, The One Who holds the world in His hands. He is the God that never changes. He is always the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8. He is our God and Creator. He knows us more than we know ourselves. He IS worthy of our trust.

Isaiah 43:1 But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, "Do Not fear, for I have redeemed you: I have called you by name; you are Mine!"  (NASV)

I do not believe in luck or chances. I serve a God of purpose. So, I will say, that it is not by chance that you have read a little of my story. I believe the Lord is seeking you out as He sought me out. Isn't it wonderful to think that you are just that important to God Almighty? That He would actually go through any trouble at all just to find you!

If your heart is stirred by His presence and you sense He is drawing you closer to Him, then answer that call and say "Here I am Lord Jesus come into my life and lead me in Your ways. Forgive me for trying to do things my way. I give my heart to You. Thank you Lord for Your faithfulness to me."

Welcome to the family of God! I would like to pray for you as well.

Father God, I thank you for these that have given their lives to You this day. You have drawn them by Your Holy Spirit to do so. I thank You Lord that their hearts are softened to receive all that You have for them. Keep them safe by Your power and might. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit to a church of believers that will help them in their walk with You, as You did for me. Provide all they need this day. Cloth them with Your heavenly presence Father and fill their hearts with Your peace and joy. I thank you for lifting burdens and cares that have seemed to overwhelm them. I pray for those that have difficulties sleeping at night and pray for Your perfect peace to fill them and bind every fear that would try to steal from them in Jesus' name. Help them to give those things into Your hands where they can be better taken care of. Holy Spirit of my God, I thank you for building such a trust and bond in their lives with the Lord God, that every voice that would rise up and try to cause doubt, would be shut up and put to shame. I thank you for healing and restoring those that need a healing touch in their physical bodies this day. Father, I thank you that You are concerned with what concerns us. We mean that much to you. We love You Lord. In the amazing name of Jesus!

May His grace abound more and more toward you and yours. Blessings in Christ Jesus!
