HAVE A BLESSED AND MERRY CHRISTMAS

Blessings and Holiday greetings to you and yours!

I pray the Holy presence of the Lord fills your heart and home to over flow, as you reminisce on days gone by.   May He give you His peace and joy with a renewed hope for your future.

Rejoice! For what the Lord has done. He has given to us His only Son. Holy Child born in a rough-hewn place. So all may see Our God face to face. Never was there a time so sure, Baby King that mankind would adore. Deliverer of many for generations to come. Holy King and Mighty God like the world itself has never seen. Kings past and future will none reign as He.

By Your loving-kindness You have drawn us forth. Into Your sweet salvation by Your death on the cross.  From wooden trough, miraculous love full. To wooden cross brutality did rule. Yes, this babe in the manger with thorns upon brow. Indeed did empty His love as His life blood did run down.

But on the third day did He rise unto life. Yes, this King of Kings now Redeemer of His Bride! Holy pure birth, did He willfully lay down His life. The Lord God Almighty looked down from Heaven and seen. His precious Son, the Lord of Lords break forth from the grave victoriously!

Bringing New Life to all who would ask:  My Jesus, My Savior, please forgive my past. This day I do ask You into my life. I give You heart and soul, clean me Lord and make it right. I receive what You have done for me. Taking upon Yourself, my sin that separated You from me. As You gave Your life so unselfishly. Teach me Lord, to now give my life away. By loving others with Your love, that You would send my way.

Silent night, Holy night did the Heavenly Hosts appear. Praising God and saying:

"GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST, AND ON EARTH PEACE TO MEN, ON WHOM HIS FAVOR RESTS."  (Luke 2:13-14) BSB

Again I say, Rejoice! For what the Lord has done. The Lord God Almighty has given to us His Son!

"Have a blessed and Merry Christmas, with a blessing filled Holiday Season! Warmest regards in the love of Christ. From our home to yours!

"Please share this with others and may you be richly blessed by our King!"

HIDDEN IN CHRIST

Blessings in the Mighty name of Jesus, Beloved!

While prayerfully considering our next study, the Lord placed in my heart "Hidden in Christ."  Yes, and we truly are. The word "hidden" tends to bring a sense of comfort to me. It gives the impression or feeling of protection and safety.  The word "hidden" may also imply: not evident, not revealed, refuge, concealed, unseen, secret, invisible and covert. Wow covert!  I am suddenly hearing the mission impossible theme song! Alright, a little humor. Laughter is good for you.

These definitions can give us something to ponder. Let's read what our Brother Paul has to say.

Colossians 3:1-3 "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand side of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God."  (NKJV)

Let's look at the word affection.

affection - fondness, love, devotion, tenderness, warmth, endearment, caring, attachment, friendship.

One translation says passion.

These definitions can give us a spring board of sorts to begin our digging and pondering into the word affection.

Now, if we return to the beginning of verse 1 chapter 3 in Colossians, we will see how our affections are to be spent and invested. "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand side of God."  Okay, if we be risen with Christ... then we must have first been dead unto something else, and we were. We were dead unto God, through our transgressions and sins, which separated us from Him.

So, now that we are alive in Christ, and raised from the dead with Him, (spiritually by faith) then we are now admonished (strongly encouraged) to live in a way that we set our affections on; "those things which are above."  What things?  The things that kept Jesus' and the disciples affection here on earth, are the same things that we are to also take hold of and be passionate about.

As we continue reading the Bible, and spending time with Him in our devotion and prayer time, we will experience revelation and understanding of His desire and will for our lives.

Matthew 7:7  "Ask and it will given you; seek and you will find; Knock and the door will be opened to you."

PRACTICE THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD

I'd like for us to stop and take a moment to sense the presence of the Lord around us. Just stop. Just shut all of the noises around you out. Know and expect Him, Jesus, to show up right where you are at this moment by His Holy Spirit.  I want you to know and understand that at this very moment you have open heavens above you. You have an audience with the precious Son of God!

I pray that you sense His anointing and presence around you, like a blanket or coat. I pray His Holy Spirit fills the place where are, with His majestic presence and fills you with His joy and peace. If you must take a moment to worship Him, then please, go right ahead. Who can give audience to the King without worshiping Him who is worthy of our praise!

In Hebrews chapter 11 we can read all about the fore fathers of faith. They also believed without seeing with their natural eyes and senses. Yet it was accounted to them for righteousness.  We have the blessing of reading their stories and the outcomes of their faith walk, that we can learn from, and expect the Lord intervene just the same. They too were hidden in the Lord, and kept for His good purposes to reach a people, a nation, and the world! So are we!

We are hidden in Christ and kept for the purposes and will of the Father. There is a question that I will answer. Some may ask. Why would the Lord the keep us "hidden or concealed?"  I believe He will do this at given times, just as He did with John the Baptist, Jesus, and others who followed Him. It was for a specific time and purpose.

There are things that the Lord may have placed in your heart, and it isn't quite time yet for it to be revealed. You may be in a season of preparation and training. Another may be stepping into and excepting the call the Lord has on their lives. Others may be in transition and learning to be sensitive to the new direction the Holy Spirit is leading.

Whatever season you may find yourself in, you can rest assured that the Lord is keeping you in the palm of His hand. He has hidden you in His heart and knows right where you are and how to find you. He has concealed for His divine purposes. He will allow you to see the unseen as you take refuge in Him. He will keep you in His secret place where none can snatch from you from His hand.

Psalm 91

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.
Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come night thy dwelling.
For He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.
With a long life will I satisfy him, and show him My salvation.

All blessings and praise be unto our God and King!

May you and yours be richly blessed in Christ Jesus and raised up, to step into the divine call He has called and equipped you for.  All to His glory in Jesus' name!

Love in Christ Jesus

KEEP THEM IN YOUR CARE AND LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE THERE BESIDE THEM.

FATHER GOD, AS YOU LIVE, BLANKET THAT AREA NOW BY YOUR SPIRIT, FATHER, WITH AN UNDENIABLE SUPERNATURAL PRESENCE OF YOUR HOLY WARRIORS AND GUARDIAN ANGELS. THROUGH THIS, LET MANY COME TO KNOW AND FEAR YOU AND YOUR HOLY NAME. WE PRAY REVIVAL IN THE HEARTS OF MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN. HOLY, HOLY, HOLY ARE YOU LORD, AND MIGHTY TO SAVE. LISTEN FOR THE LEADING

Blessings the Lords beloved!

I am believing this message finds you blessed and filled with the peace of Christ!

In a recent conversation with a Brother of ours in the Lord, he had asked: "How do I hear the voice of the Lord more clearer? I would like to hear His voice even more fine tuned, specific."  As we spoke I reminded him of the boldness that he already exhibits in the Lord. By praying for others as the Holy Spirit prompts him. With this He said: "Yes, but I want more... I want to go deeper in Him." I'd like to interject a "note to self" right here. Wanting more of the Lord and desiring to go deeper in the Lord is more than admirable. IT IS IMPERATIVE!

He then reminded me of a situation I had shared in my book "Be Moved." Where I had been in the grocery store and while shopping, a woman had passed by me. I immediately felt the prompting or leading of the Lord to give her a specific amount of money.  No questions asked. I wasn't supposed to stick around and give this young woman a dissertation as of why I was giving the money to her (I felt the Lords lesson was "no pride.") It was not I who was giving the woman a blessing and meeting a need. It was the Lord. Therefore, she needed to know nothing about who I was.

With this, he asked: "How did you know?" I explained that it isn't any different than how he ministers healing to others. He had shared with me, how at times, when he and his wife are out in public, that people are drawn to them. Shortly after he and his wife are approached, they start a conversation, and then it happens! The Holy Spirit impresses upon his heart to pray for these strangers and the certain ailment or need they may have, that the Lord desires to heal. By the way, as a side note, this Brother and Sister of ours have a sweet anointing in the Holy Spirit, and are accurate in hearing from the Lord. At the conclusion of our conversation, our Brother had determined that the "Key was Listening" to hear the voice of our Heavenly Father and His desires, via His Holy Spirit.

I must say at this point, there is something I need to share, that "WE" as the Body of Christ need each other. We need to encourage one another to grow in the gifts the Lord has given us. Along side of one another. With the call the Lord has placed upon our lives, and to fulfill that call. Not for glory of our own, but to the Glory of our Lord and Savior! This is the only reason He has chosen us. So that the world through us may believe that He is with us, and has sent us to them!

"I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, as you, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me." John 17:20-21 (Berean Study Bible)

We must encourage one another to step out in faith and do the works of the ministry, and share the glorious message of the Gospel, as our Lord intended. The Lord our God did not give us the precious gifts of the Holy Spirit in earthen vessels, to just keep in a jar like a lightning bug to gaze at!

The Holy Spirit is our Teacher, Mentor, Friend, Comforter, Eyes and voice of our Heavenly Father. He is the Breath of God! Hallelujah! That runs through our spirit and blood! He "IS" the life of Almighty God, living in and through us to bless others and bring them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!

After all is said and done, I am still in awe and amazed at His wondrous love for us. It's humbling...

There is a scripture verse I'd like to share that may be helpful in encouraging you also to step out in faith.

"And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left." Isaiah 30:21 (English Standard Version)

We have been given the instruction manual, the Bible, Gods Word and our Teacher the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ "IS" the Word of God made manifest. The more we read, study and delve into the Bible, the more we will learn of the Lords will and ways. What pleases and displeases Him. We will learn and understand His nature and character. We will become personally and intimately acquainted with Him.

Just as Jesus Himself placed His focus upon what the Father says and does. Even so we also, place our focus upon what Jesus has said and done. Jesus led by example to show the Disciples, the how, what and will of the Father, through His actions and words.

Now we show the world Jesus. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit. By His, (Jesus') words, actions and Word, being manifested through us, by the power and person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the God Head. He"Is" the Spirit of God the Father and Jesus the Son. He is one in them and works through us, bringing about the will of the Father, glorifying the Son.

"So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of His own accord, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise."     John 5:19 (English Study Version)

"I have not spoken on My own, but the Father who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and how to say it." John 12:49 (Berean Study Bible)

The Jews were amazed and asked, "How did this man attain such learning without having studied?" "My teaching is not My own, Jesus replied. "It comes from Him Who sent Me."           John 7:15-16 (Berean Study Bible)

"I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him." Deuteronomy 18:18 (New American Standard Bible)

Let's read how our Brother Paul said it. It can not get any more simple then this.

"Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ." 1 Corinthians 11:1 (New King James Version)

I would like to encourage you to go in the peace, presence and power of our Lord. Bringing His redemption and healing to all nations. One person at a time or many. Wherever our Lord may lead. Step out in faith using the gifts He has equipped you with. You have been equipped and called with purpose. So, live as such.

As it has been said: "Today, if you hear His voice harden not your hearts, as you did in the rebellion." (Berean Study Bible) Hebrews 3:15.

I pray the Lords presence goes with you wherever He may lead. The power of His Holy Spirit rests upon you, bringing you into the Fathers perfect will. I pray the Fathers voice you will hear as you set your heart to listen.

Go, in the peace, presence and love of the Lord above and in the power of His Holy Spirit. In the magnificent name of Jesus of Nazareth!

ONE FLOOR UP

Blessings to you the Lord's Beloved!

Imagine for a moment with me, that you were in a building that has 37 floors. However, you are on the first floor with no way of getting to the second. Oddly enough there are no stairs, no elevator, and no fire escape. Aside from busting loose on all of the building code violations, you just have no way humanly possible to reach that second floor, let alone the 37th. Yet to your amazement the rest of the building seems to be buzzing with excitement and energy. Confused, you wander around the first floor, looking and simply wondering why you can not find the access way. The others have! Why can't I?

The same is true for the Kingdom of Heaven. Sometimes it may seem as though we are walking around aimlessly wondering, how do I get there? You may say to yourself; "I've tried this, and I've tried that. That other thing I was doing for a while seemed to make me happy. But shortly there after I was just left with myself again knowing all of my weaknesses and failures. I knowingly was just running away from myself, my past, and the hurt. I was just trying to elude and deceive myself. Trying to fill the void and always coming up empty.

Dear Brave heart, if you at the very least have admitted to any one of these statements, (I am so sure there are many more that we can add) I'd like to applaud you! When you are courageous enough to get straight with yourself and not allow your heart to deceive you, you are on a very good path. The truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God! Amen and He will!

We are going to say that the first floor in our opening paragraph, is exactly that place where you've tried everything to no avail. I will ask you. Have you thought about Jesus? Have you ever thought that God may be the filler to your void? Now mind you, I'm not talking about religion. Religion has it's roots in outward appearances. Whereas relationship is a matter of the heart. Religion might change your mind, But only God can change your heart.

Let's read what Jesus has to say in the Twenty Third chapter of Matthew.

Matthew 23:27-28 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)!  For you are like tombs that have been whitewashed, which look beautiful on the outside but inside are full of dead men's bones and everything impure.  Just so, you also outwardly seem to people to be just and upright but inside your are full of pretense and lawlessness and iniquity."  (AMPC)

Jesus was pretty upset with these men to say the very least. He was upset because they seemed as though they were upholding the law when in fact they were continually breaking every one of them! You may ask: "Well how can this be? Why were they given a place of honor and servant-hood among the people? Let me answer that with a quick analogy. It's kind of like when you are washing your car. You are getting that sponge all sudsy and ready to slap on your vehicle. Now while you are going through the motions your mind may be thinking about one hundred other things. Yet mechanically as though it were, you are still getting your car sparkling clean.

In other words, You can go through the motions and your heart may never be in it. This is exactly why Jesus was calling them out! The Lord wanted a personal relationship with each and every one of them. But they were to busy deceiving and misleading the people with an impure heart. Their confidence was in their own works rather than in God by faith. They did not have a heart that was toward God and His perfect will, but rather man and his imperfect will.

Matthew 15:7-9  "You hypocrites!  Isaiah prophesied correctly: These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.  They worship Me in vain; They teach as doctrine the precepts of men."

2 Timothy 3:5  "They having a form godliness but denying the power there of.  Turn away from such as these!"  (BSB)

But, we are not talking about them. We are talking about you and I. The difference is a sincere heart. In 2 Samuel 16:7 in the later part of the verse it states; "that man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks upon the heart."

We can also read in Hebrews 10:22 "Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an (guilty) evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water."  (NIV)

The word sincere means - free from pretense or deceit; honest, proceeding from genuine feelings. Heartfelt, wholehearted, real, profound, deep, earnest.

The word conscious means - having the knowledge of something; aware; to be painfully aware of; sensitive to.  Also, in the late 16th century the term conscious in Latin was used as - being aware of wrongdoing;  a knowing with others or in oneself.

I love the scripture above Hebrews 10:22.  But lets look at the verse before.  Hebrews 10:21 "And since we have such a great and wonderful and noble priest Who rules over the House of God."
Then the it goes on to say verse 22: "Let us draw near to God..." Now that Jesus Himself is our High Priest Who cannot be tempted or tainted by the sin that so easily entraps us. Hebrews 12:1.  It is much to our benefit to draw near indeed to God now. He is the filler of that void we spoke about earlier. He is our creator and understands more than any the human condition. He through Jesus was 100 percent God and 100 percent man.

Unlike the priests of old spoken about in the Book of Matthew who were called hypocrites by our Lord. Because their heart was not right with God. It was impossible to come to God in the state they were in. Unless they humbled themselves with an honest and earnest heart. But we however are able to approach God with a sincere and honest heart. Notice the definition never stated that the word sincere meant perfect.  Indeed there is none perfect but He!

In Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."  We all have sinned. Because of this sin it caused us to be separated from God our Father. He is holy and cannot dwell in the presence of sin. Or shall I say that sin cannot dwell in His presence. Mighty that He is!  This is why He took upon Himself the transgressions and sins of the world in the man of Jesus. Now our sin and along with it, its judgement, is paid in full.

Now we are able to draw near to God through and by the Person of Jesus Christ His Son. We have been redeemed or ransomed by Him and for Him.

The word Redeem means - To save or vindicate. Gain or regain possession of something in exchange for payment. Retrieve, regain, repossess, recover, reclaim. To compensate for faults or bad aspects of something.

Let's read what the Book of Isaiah has to say.

Isaiah 44:22 "I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you."

Thank you Lord!  I will ask you once again. Have you thought that Jesus is the answer to filling that void we spoke about earlier?  The Lord is inviting you up to the second floor right now with access to the other floors. He has made the way. Ask Him with a sincere and honest heart to forgive your sin known and unknown, and ask Jesus to come into your life and fill that void in your life once and for all.

Proverbs 18:24 "A man of too many friends comes to ruin, But there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother." (NASV)

Jesus is that friend that sticks closer than a brother.  If you prayed and asked Jesus into your life please let us know. We would like to welcome you to the family of God!

Father in the precious name of Jesus I bless these that have made a choice to look unto You to fill that empty void in their lives. By Your mercy fill them Lord with Your joy and peace. Touch their hearts by Your Holy Spirit to bring comfort, healing and guidance. Let their lives bring glory to Your name.  In the mighty name of Jesus our Savior.

If you may need prayer for yourself or a loved one, we would love to pray for you.

NONS FE DONIA - FORGOTTEN IN THE WORLD

Blessings in the name of the Most High God!

I pray that you and yours are doing well in our Lord.  I'd like to share a story with you.  While doing the dishes the other evening after dinner, I found myself speaking this phrase out loud "Nons Fe Donia." Now mind you, I do not speak other languages fluently at all.  I may know a very small amount of Spanish, and a couple of greetings in Polish. But that is about it. For the most part, I have come to learn and recognize that if it isn't something that I have an understanding with, it is most likely the Lord.

Knowing that this was not a familiar phrase to me at all, I began to search it out on the internet.  As a side note, the Lord will do this at times with me, knowing I will go and dig into it, in order to find the answer.  You can also refer back to an earlier blog "Listen for the Leading"  to gain a little understanding and insight when the Lord may desire to get your attention. He may want to show you something, or lead you in a certain direction.

Now by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, I will begin to share with you what the Lord has placed upon my heart for you.

NO, says the Lord. You are not alone. I have seen every tear that you have cried. My heart groans and breaks as your heart breaks. Just as Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died." (John 11:21) Yes, my dear beloved, but I was there. Every step of the way. It was I that was the wind at your back to keep your heart and mind strong and fixed. It was I that sent the soothing breeze and birds of the air to comfort you as you pondered the future. Yes, and it was I that held your hand, ever so gently, when it was better to let go then to hold on. It was I whose presence you felt surround you in the midst of terrible grief that none could comfort you, by the loss of your husband and child.

Yes, the days are evil, because the condition of mans heart is evil. However, I am the Lord your God. Is there anything to difficult for Me? (Jeremiah 32:27) Was it not I who parted the great sea? (Exodus 14:21) Was it not I who fed the prophet in the wilderness? (1 Kings 19:5-8) Was it not I your Creator who raised the dead and still do? (2 Kings 13:20-21, Luke 7:11-17, Matthew 27:50-53) If only you would believe. I say to you dear child, believe with your whole heart this day. Believe in Me, Yahweh, Yeshua, Jesus, Elohim, I Am that I Am, Adonia, Abba.

See if I do not hold the worlds and your world in the palm of My hand. I love you and have drawn you with an everlasting love, never to be removed from My heart. (Jeremiah 31:3) Yes, nation shall rise against nation, but you are My beloved. (Song of Solomon 7:10) I shall preserve you and hide you in My heart, through My Son. (Colossians 3:3)

Keep your peace by believing on Me, says your God. All power is Mine. I am covering you with My Holy Presence this day. My servants of fire are your rear guard and protection. (Psalm 104:4, Genesis 18:2) I tell you, as it is written, eye has not seen, nor ear has not heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. (I Corinthians 2:9)

NO, you are not alone. None can snatch you from My hand says your Lord and King. (John 10:28) I will be with you even to the end of this age. Continue to do the works that I have commanded you. Signs and wonders will follow those who believe. (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:16-18)

"I WILL NOT FORGET YOU!" (Isaiah 49:14-16)

"Blessings to you and yours. In the name of Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the Living God!"

HIS ARMS OF LOVE

Peace be unto you and yours, my Brothers and Sisters!

After a hard days work, have you ever wanted to climb into your most comfortable easy chair? Allowing it to embrace you as you wedge yourself into its cushions. Finding the chair has kept the mold to your body perfectly from days gone by. Finally, you take a deep breath, then exhale and allow the fullness of the day to melt away even just for a moment while you find yourself again.

Life is very demanding and challenging. The boss wants what he wants. The children want what they want. We are an "on demand society."  Although we may be trying our very best to pursue the great dream of success. If we do not keep our perspective on meaningful priorities, we will be swallowed up by a big fish.

What I mean by meaningful priorities is at the end of the day what is it that anchors your soul to find rest, peace, security and comfort?  Think about that for a moment. In all of your peaceful meditation, I do not think that pictures of your boss were floating past your minds eye. No, it was more like your family, your humble abode where you hang your hat at the end of the day, friends, parents, your garden in the yard, or Saturdays sporting event that's up and coming. This list may go on and on.

What brings us pleasure and peace is of Gods doing. You see, He has created life that we may enjoy it and all of the wonders it holds. However, His intent was not that we should enjoy it without Him. There is a story in the Bible about Adam and Eve, the first man and woman that God created. The story goes on to say that every evening in the cool of the day, the Lord God would come and visit Adam and Eve in the garden where they lived.

I am sure they talked about the happenings of the day together and just enjoyed each others company. If Adam found things frustrating I am sure he spoke to the Lord, and the Lord God in His great wisdom, gave Adam understanding and peace in how to resolve the matter. In that, Adam would find rest, peace of mind and comfort to put that situation aside until the next day.

The Bible says in Matthew 6:34 "So never worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (NIV)

There is nothing we are able to change about today. It has now become the past. We can learn about how we may be able to do things differently for our tomorrow, in order to have the outcome we desired. The challenge is that, we are not always in control of the circumstances around us. The Lord in His infinite wisdom and patience is still working this out in my own life. However, we must remember that we serve a God who sees everything from its beginning to its end. It is of Him that we must take a moment and ask, "Father you see this situation and you know me and my heart. You see the beginning and end of the matter. Please teach me Your ways. I thank you for Your grace and wisdom.

In Ecclesiastes 7:8 we read: "The end of a matter is better than its beginning; Patience of spirit is better than haughtiness of spirit."

So, at the end of your day when you try to find your way to that easy chair, looking forward to its embrace, why not allow the Lord to embrace you. Take a moment to visit with Father God at the end of your day just as Adam and Eve did. As you begin to exhale and relax, allowing the fullness of the day to melt away, and you come back to yourself. Thank Him for everything He's given to you and for the wisdom and knowledge, to keep things in proper perspective. His perspective. Let Him wrap His loving arms around you and lend you comfort like only He is able.

Jesus said in the book of Matthew 11:28-30 "Come unto me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

His blessings, peace and comfort be unto you and yours. In the matchless name of Jesus!

YOUR CALL OF EXODUS

Blessings to you in the name of our Lord!

"By the Spirit of the Living God:

The Lord is positioning you and is bringing into your exodus. Yes, He has turned your face away from all earthly knowing and is now causing you to step into your promised land. You will first cross over through the sea. The veil of His crimson blood and His water flowing so clean. Pure will you be, pure will you be, oh so pure will you be. His Fire by night and His Spirit by day will you be drawn into His purposes. He will guide you all of the way. Because you have made yourself willing, and so it has been granted to you. Hold fast, hold fast to His glory and grace. Do not rush nor make haste. REST in HIS POWER, in HIS POWER alone! Heaven on earth bears witness to His Thrown!

Come up and out Rebekah and Jacob! Your time is now! RISE, RISE and ARISE! When your foot steps into your land, be vigilant oh watchman with sword in your hand. It is the prayers of the righteous that move the Spirit of our God. Armed with His Word and your feet shod in peace. Deliver many, deliver all - you are the Repairer of the Breach! Clothed in His righteousness, none can withstand. His resurrection Spirit that leads you into your land."

May your path be made straight and all grace rest upon in the Mighty and Matchless Name of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AN EXPRESSION OF LOVE

Blessings my Brothers and Sisters!

As we continue to grow in our walk with the Lord, and understand the gifts and talents we possess, I believe we must look at the one who gives us our inspiration. The Holy Spirit of God.

In 1 John 4:7-8 "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." (KJV)

We see that God IS love. Love IS God and love comes from God. Love is the manifestation of the Lord God. God is a tri-une Being. Meaning three in one: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God the Father is enthroned in the heavenlies. God the Son (Jesus) is seated at the right side of the throne and God the Holy Spirit is here on earth living within earthen vessels.

In the book of Acts chapters 1 and 2 we find the account of how Jesus explained to the disciples that the Holy Spirit (the promise of the Father) was coming to them and they would receive power. Then they would be the Lords witnesses throughout Judea and Samaria to the uttermost parts of the world.

We see that the Lord felt it necessary for the disciples and all followers of Christ to have power from on high, the person of the Holy Spirit. He is the one who raised Jesus from the dead. He is the one in whom Jesus was able to heal the sick and deliver the oppressed. He is the one who filled the Lord with empathy and compassion toward people. The Holy Spirit of God is the one who stirred Jesus to speak comfort to the disheartened. He is the one who worked through Jesus to do the miracles he did.

Jesus put it this way in John 5:30 "I can do nothing on my own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgement is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who  has sent Me." If Jesus needed him I am so sure we do too! (BSB)

Now, if God is love and the Holy Spirit is God, that means that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of love. He reveals the Lords love to us and he will help us share Gods love with others.

In Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance/patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such there is no law."

Jesus set a wonderful example of how we are to respond to the lovely and unlovely. He operated with the fruit of the Holy Spirit.  It is not always easy to love the unlovable. But it is not impossible with the Holy Spirit working through us. We will love with the Fathers love which is unconditional. Not our love aside from the Lords, which is limited and conditional.

In whatever capacity we serve others, we must realize that it will be successful when we allow the fruit of the Holy Spirit to work in and through our lives with the love of the Lord. People will sense our sincerity.

I like what Colossians 3:23-24 says "Whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord you shall receive the reward of inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ."

Let's pray. Father in heaven I thank you for allowing Heart Treasure Ministries an opportunity to support, encourage and build into the lives of others. I thank you for giving them clear insight for what you have called them to do. I thank you Lord that you have given them ears to hear what your Holy Spirit would speak to their heart concerning the gifts and call you have for them. Lord, I know you do not call us without equipping us with everything we need to get the job done. Thank you for your Holy Spirit of grace and power. Thank you Lord for your love working through our lives to touch those around us. Father we allow your Holy Spirit access to use our hearts and hands all for your glory. In the precious name of Jesus! Amen.

May the Lords grace and peace rest greatly upon your life and the lives of your loved ones!

WORSHIP A MATTER OF THE HEART pt 1

God bless you beloved of the Lord!

I would like to start by blessing you and your family in the name of Jesus. I pray our Lord sheds His miraculous love, peace, joy and healing into your life and the lives of your loved ones. As you desire to serve Him with all of your heart, may He make known unto you His eternal love, and the depth of that love. In the marvelous precious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

I'd like to take some time and talk about our personal worship with the Lord. Let's look at the definition of worship.

Worship - n.  the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity.

Elevation - n. the action of elevating someone in rank, power, or character.

Praise - v. express warm approval or admiration of.

Let's look at a couple of verses regarding our hearts.

"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out it is the wellspring of life." Proverbs 4:23 (WEB)

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:10 (KJV)

"The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh." Luke 6:45 (ASV)

I would like to make a suggestion to you. When we have our time of worship with the Lord, you may want to have a pen and paper handy to take notes. It is not uncommon that during these times the Lord will speak to us and place things in our heart, regarding His plans and purposes for us or His desire for others. By His Holy Spirit, these times may also become a time of refreshing and direction. We will want to not only hear what the Holy Spirit of God desires to say to us, but we will want to remember. These are those wellsprings that we are able to look back upon, and draw from, to find encouragement and direction in the present and the future.

"I will stand on my guard post and station myself on the rampart; And I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, and how I may reply when I am reproved. Then the lord answered me and said, "Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run with it. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay." Habakkuk 2:1-3 (NAS)

The Ark being brought back to the City of David 2 Samuel 6:1-11

Now David again gathered all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand. And David arose and went with all the people who were with him to Baale-judah, to bring up from there the ark of God which is called by the Name, the very name of the Lord of Hosts Who is enthroned above the cherubim.
They placed the ark of God on a new cart that they might bring it from the house of Abinadab which was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, were leading the new cart. So they brought it with the ark of God from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill; and Ahio was walking ahead of the ark.
Meanwhile, David and all the house of Israel were celebrating before the Lord with all kinds of instruments made of fir wood, and with lyres, harps, tambourines, castanets and cymbals. But when they came to the threshing floor of Nacom, Uzzah reached out toward the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen nearly upset it. And the anger of the Lord burned against Uzzah, and God struck him down there for his irreverence; and he died there by the ark of God.
David became angry because of the Lord's anger against Uzzah, and that place is called Perez-uzzah to this day. So David was afraid of the Lord that day; and he said, "How can the ark of the Lord come to me?" And David was unwilling to move the ark of the Lord into the city of David with him; but David took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
Thus the ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-edom and all his household. (NASV)

Definition of Obed-Edom, and Uzzah

Obed - serving; worship

Edom - worker; servant of god

Uzzah - strength; goat

Who was Uzza? We are able to find that Uzzah was one of Abinadab's sons, in whose house the ark rested for twenty years. He and his brother also accompanied David in the removal of the ark, to bring it to the City of David. Twenty years is a long time to have something (the ark) dwelling with you. Not unlike ourselves, when we have something or someone that we've grown accustomed to, that we seem to take for granted, or just don't seem to respect as we did at the first. We have heard of a saying, "familiarity breeds contempt," I believe it could be applied to this situation. If their hearts grew cold, there would be an irreverent attitude toward the Ark of the Lord.
We see that Uzza's name means strength. In whom's strength did he operate in when he reached out to stop the ark from falling? There is a way to approach the Living God. For starters, a little reverent fear is always good. Along with humility and gratitude.

Since our study has brought us to this point, this may be an opportunity for us to take a moment and reflect on how we may have possibly handled the presence of the Lord in our own lives. There is a scripture verse that I love. It continually reminds me that God is God, and I am not! He is the Creator, and I am but dust.

"The fear of the Lord, prolongs life, But the years of the wicked will be shortened." Proverbs 10:27 (NASV)

Abraham recognized this truth and humbled himself before the Lord. We can read in Genesis 18:27, when Abraham was acting as advocate and interceding for his nephew Lot who had gone down to Sodom and Gomorrah. He had an awesome fear of the Lord, but even so, he spoke with the Lord as a man speaks to his friend. And, the Lord spoke back! This is a relationship.

  • Have we grown accustomed to the presence of the Lord, that we've taken Him for granted?
  • Have we slowly filled our schedules with things in the world around us, and sacrificed our time with Him?
  • Have we lost our fervor and desire to cultivate our relationship with Him?
  • Has our heart grown weary from life's storms and disappointments?
  • Have our expectations of finding hope again in His presence, been replaced by doubt and cynicism?
  • Are you at a place in your life that you just don't believe that God loves or hears you?

Now, with your pen and pad ready to inscribe what the Lord may speak to your heart, take time out on purpose to meet with Him. Start with a good morning Father! Open up dialogue with Him. If you work, you can still greet Him and ask the Holy Spirit to guide your day and give you the Fathers wisdom.

Think about the time of day that would be best for you to set aside, to have private worship and prayer time with Him. Expect Him to meet you here, in your quiet place. The place you have purposefully set aside to meet with the King!

May all blessings and grace abound to you as you seek Him with all of your heart. He loves you. He has called you by name. He has known you before you were in your mother's womb. He desires to know you more. He wants to guide you by His Truth, that you may no longer be lost and alone with no direction to go. He knows your hurt. He is your Healer. The arms of the Lord are opened wide to you. He knows right where you are. He is gentle and kind. He does not lie or mislead. If you want change in your life, He is able to bring that change. Just ask Him. You will never walk alone.

Blessings to you and yours! In the love of Christ!

I want to go deeper in Him."

At the conclusion of our conversation, our Brother had determined that the "Key was Listening" to hear the voice of our Heavenly Father and His desires, via the Holy Spirit.

I must say at this point, I need to share, that "WE" as the Body of Christ, need each other. We need to encourage one another to grow in the gifts the Lord has given us. Along with the call the Lord has placed upon our lives, and to fulfill that call. Not for glory of own, but to the Glory of our Lord and Savior! This is the only reason He has chosen us. So that the world through us may believe that He is with us, and has sent us to them!

"I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, as you, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me." John 17:20-21 (BSB)

We must encourage one another to step out in faith and do the works of the ministry, and share the glorious message of the Gospel, as our Lord intended. The Lord our God did not give us the Holy Spirit in earthen vessels, to just keep in a jar like a lightning bug to gaze at!

The Holy Spirit, our Teacher, Mentor, Friend, Comforter, Eyes and voice of our Heavenly Father.

"And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left." Isaiah 30:21 (ESV)

He "Is" the Spirit of God the Father and Jesus the Son. He is one in them and works through us, bringing about the will of the Father, glorifying the Son.

"So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of His own accord, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise."     John 5:19 (ESV)

"I have not spoken on My own, but the Father who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and how to say it."  John 12:49 (BSB)

The Jews were amazed and asked, "How did this man attain such learning without having studied?" "My teaching is not My own, Jesus replied. "It comes from Him Who sent Me."           John 7:15-16 (BSB)

"I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him." Deuteronomy 18:18 (NASB)

Let's read how our Brother Paul said it. It can not get any more simple then this.

"Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ." 1 Corinthians 11:1 (NKJV)

I would like to encourage you to go in the peace, presence and power of our Lord. Bringing His redemption and healing to all nations. One person at a time or many. Where ever our Lord may lead. Step out in faith using the gifts He has equipped you with. You have been equipped and called with purpose. So, live as such. Today if you hear His voice harden not your heart. Hebrews 3:7-8.

I pray the Lords presence goes with you where ever He may lead.

BLACK AND WHITE pt 3

Greetings the Lord's Beloved!  Blessings and prosperity to you and yours in this New Year!

To continue our study, I would like us to take a look at a verse that the Pharisees and Scribes were familiar with, taken from the Old Testament, spoken by our Lord. It is taken from the Book of Matthew 22:38-39. Jesus declared, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself." (BSB)

Did you know that this was not a new concept that the Lord Jesus was introducing to them? Jesus was simply quoting the Law of the Lord or the Law of Moses! It is found in Leviticus 19:17-18. "You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord." (ESV)

I would like us to pause right here and think for moment... Isn't it funny how hateful and threatened the Pharisees and Scribes were toward Jesus? They attempted to spread falsehoods about Him to the people, so they'd question what He was teaching them. The thing I find peculiar about this, is that He was only quoting from the same Law that they used to control and intimidate the Lords people.

This same Law can be used against the people of God to bring condemnation or used to set them free. It is important how The Word of God is applied to people, that will determine the outcome. If applied with love, it will bring fruitfulness, peace and deliverance. If applied with hate, fear or anger, it will bring forth bondage, fear and condemnation.

"Now where the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (freedom)." 2 Corinthians 3:17 (NAS)

What I would like us to gain out of this series, is to become aware of just how close we walk to that fine line of liberty or condemnation.  Whether it be in regards to ourselves or others.

Let's read a perfect example of this situation found in Matthew 16:13-23.

"Now when Jesus came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, who do men say that the Son of man is?  And they said, Some say John the Baptist; some, Elijah; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. He said unto them, But who do you say that I am?  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God.  And Jesus answered and said unto him. Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jonah: For flesh and blood have not revealed it unto you, but My Father Who is in heaven.
And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  Then charged He the disciples that they should tell no man that He was the Christ.
From that time began Jesus to show unto His disciples, that He must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up. And Peter took Him, and began to rebuke Him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall never be unto thee.  But He turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind Me, Satan: thou art a stumbling-block unto Me: for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men." Matthew 16:13-23  (ASV)

In the first stanza of the verses we read above, we see that the Lord makes inquiry to His disciples of who men say that He is. They responded. Then He once again makes inquiry. Now to His disciples He asked: "Who do they think He is?"  With this, Peter responds and seems to have just gushed forth without thought. Peter's response is: "You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God."  Jesus answers and said to him. "Blessed are you Simon Bar-Jonah: Flesh and blood have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven."

We will find that when it comes to our Brother Peter, He doesn't waste any time sharing his thoughts. He is a zealous personality.  So, as Jesus finished asking, "Who do you say I am?"  It's not surprising that Peter gushes forth with the revelation of Who Jesus is.  Once Jesus hears Peters response He replies, "Blessed are you Peter son of Jonah: Flesh and blood have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven."

I'd like us to look at this statement and Jesus' response as one of excitement and joy. Jesus has shared His heart, His healing virtue and griefs, on the condition of the Lords creation with hope and without it. He has bound Himself to the will of the Father, Who is in heaven and Who has sent Him.

In John 4:34 the Lord explains to the disciples: "My food is to do the will of Him Who sent Me and to do His work."

John 5:30 "I can do nothing by Myself; I judge only as I hear. And My judgement is just, because I do not seek My own,  but the will of Him Who sent Me."

Let's get back to Peters statement.  I wanted to point out how Peter received revealed truth from the Father, by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that flesh and blood has not revealed this to you. The mind or soul of unregenerate man had not brought this to light. But the Lord God Himself had.

I have no doubt that this illumination encouraged our Lord. Remember Jesus 100 % man and 100 % God. As a man, not unlike ourselves, encouragement is always welcomed. Especially when it's from above! We can read in Hebrews 4:15 That Jesus was touched with our infirmities or weaknesses. The state that we are in, yet did not sin.

I'd like us to skip down to the third paragraph. It tells us how Jesus from the point of Peters revelation, began to explain how he was going to go to Jerusalem and suffer at the hands of the pharisees and scribes, and after this be put to death. However, He'd be raised up on the third day.

With this, we see our brother Peter hastily begin to rebuke Jesus, saying, "Be it far from thee Lord: this shall never be unto Thee."  After speaking this out, we see Jesus turn toward Peter and say: "Get thee behind me Satan: thou art a stumbling-block unto Me: for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men."

Can you begin to imagine Peters confusion?  Shortly before, he was being blessed by the Lord and now he's being addressed as Satan!  Wow!  If I were Peter, I think I'd probably want to crawl under a rock! Peter was expressing his love and affection for the Master. Not that this was a bad thing. It was just at this time, there was a war taking place in the Heavenlies. The pressure was on.

The first Adam (man) failed. Jesus was the second Adam. Born to undo and nullify what the first Adam had done (tempted and gave into the temptation. Then sin was conceived).  Jesus was focused and totally absorbed, in fulfilling the perfect and wonderful will of God.  Not the will and desires of men.

Our brother Peter, did not fully understand at this time the importance, of why Jesus must be delivered into the hands of His enemies and to be put to death. He knew Jesus would suffer death. Jesus knew, understood and obeyed in order to redeem mankind.

My objective in sharing this story, is for us to see, just how we are able to be lead by the Holy Spirit and the next minute, so quickly, turn around and find we act in the flesh, our natural man. Seeking our own desires, (no matter how sincere) rather than the desires of our Father. Remember, there is no condemnation for those that are in Christ. The Lord understands our human nature and knows our thoughts and intents of our hearts. That's why shortly there after we find that the Lord comes to Peter and tells him to feed His sheep. John 21:16.  Jesus wasn't finished with Peter at all.  Nor will He throw in the towel on us. Praise God for His love!

We ourselves at any given moment are able to, out in the flesh allow the carnal man to rule, the fruits being unrighteousness and condemnation. Christ has come to set all men free and to liberate the captives from the Law of Sin and Death. Just as He has done for us, as believers in Him.

As we continue to walk with our Lord, I pray that we will have an open ear to hear what His Holy Spirit is speaking to us and a heart sold out to His desire and will for our lives.  Many blessings to you and yours are sent from our hearts to yours.  Much love in Christ Jesus.
